Warcraft III 1. Amazon Chess 1. King War 2. Pocket Tanks 1. Monopoly Galactic Imperia 3. I don't think so maybe I am wrong How come there hasn't been a 3rd party modification of Diablo 2 for high res graphics? Like a high res pack or something? Or is there? The joke of the matter is this is some dude made this NOT Blizzard they can not even mod there own source code? Yet they take plenty of opportunity to let the community and fans of Diablo know that Diablo 3 is not coming out till maybe.
Funny how that works Just me, but it would be nice if they gave the fans something that is useful and not negative, but thats just me Yeah i kinda knew about this Higher resolution is nice though. That would hot personally "a texture pack that updates the graphics a bit" Why would Blizzard not release such a thing it been 8 years since D2 LOD June 30, ?
Personally this seems like a no brainier, if fans can do it for Fallout 3, Stalkers and other games why cann't the companies that have acces to all the games assests? I am sure Blizzard could higher some graphic artists to re do the assets in D2 with the money they have stocked piled in half a year? Anyone question this? The first campaign, starring the Night Elves, serves more to introduce a colorful new water-dwelling race, the Naga.
Later the story really kicks in with the Alliance campaign. On the side we also get an unrelated bonus Orc campaign — a fun Diablo-esque hack and slash deal. It was released on 1st July Those who found Reign of Chaos chaotic and totally dependent on machine-like micromanagement skills will feel just as left out in the cold, despite the welcome implementation of many time-savers and re-dressings.
These improvements range from being able to queue multiple upgrades and waypoints to dismounting archers from your hippogryphs and meat wagons that self-generate corpses. The combat, however, becomes just as hopelessly frantic when huge armies clash. You can still only have up to three heroes total. These new heroes are hands-down the biggest draw of Frozen Throne. Although most players will quickly settle on their long-term favorites, none feel like dead weight or an old one rehashed.
In addition to old units learning new tricks, each race also gets one new ground and air unit. Orc Bat-Riders bolster a genuine high fantasy air force, while Mountain Giants offer an alternative to the lumbering Druids of the Claw for the Night Elves.
Amazingly, some annoying pathfinding bugs managed to crawl through the gaps, and they can make unit management a bit of a hassle.
