I then import the exported REX file which houses all the slices that were created using Recycle. I then show you how to trigger these samples using the imported midi file. If I create a rex file in recycle it will play in dr rex in reason but will not even open in cubase.
I dont have this problem if I just open a "ready made " rex loop from a purchased cd in this case the file will open in reason or cubase. I tried to open a "ready made " file in recycle and then saved it. Instrument pads are used to trigger samples. Pattern pads trigger MIDI drum patterns or styles.
On the Edit page for instrument pads, you set up the sound of the kits. Groove Agent kits can be exported together with the associated samples.
There might be situations where loaded programs cannot find the samples they use. This can happen if the referenced samples are located on a different drive and the drive name has changed, or because the program was created on a different computer system. If this happens, the Find Missing Sample dialog opens.
