I can choose "Remote Play Together" for the friend from my friend chat list. They get an invitation and click 'Play game'. We end up in the same game, but it seems to be nothing more than a remote mirror so she can watch me play the game. I tried going into the Coop mode, and I can see my friend listed, but when I send an invite it does nothing.
